Click tracking in Sailthru is done through your link subdomain. You must have a Google Analytics account to complete this process. To sign up, visit analytics.google.com. You can use it for one simple link and shorten as usual, or you can shorten a group of links into one shortened link. Many URL-shortener services offer the option to track how many clicks each link gets. Low cost way to start a personal brand and make vanity URLs.

With that said, if you do need to track your URLs, or you want alternative ways to post there are plenty of ways to do it: Bit.ly: Probably the most popular URL shortener for Twitter because it was one of the first to let you track your tiny URLs. Don’t fall for one of those “build your Twitter follower count fast” programs.
Open the Universal Links settings page in My Sailthru under Setup > Universal Links. Typically, data: and javascript: URLs are not supported for security reasons. Our favorite is YOURLS, but Lessn More is another good free option.
If the URL you want isn't available, please select a different one. This is the title that will show in your Google Analytics account after the automation is started. Use this field to describe the type or location of the link. Please note: anyone with a t.co shortened link will be able to navigate to the destination URL. The downside of this approach, however, is that if a user visits your shortened domain without a directory path on the end, they will be directed to a Bitly branded page. You get valuable tracking information including when the link was clicked, where it came from, the search keywords used, the IP address of the visitor and more. As an example, their tracking system could have a session ID macro that you use to replace "CLICKID", and another macro for a unique user hash that you use to replace "UNIQUEVALUE". You can copy the link by pressing and holding the link and then select copy from the options that will pop out. Adding tracking directly to your site If you have added the Analytics tracking code directly to your site, you can copy and paste the script below into your own pages to set up Event tracking for outbound links. That would help you determine whether the announcement emails are worthwhile or perhaps whether the regular emails need to be reformatted.
